About West Tokyo International College
西東京国際カレッジは、平成27年開校の日本語教育機関です。本校は日本語の授業を進学コースと一般コースに分けて行っており、学生は自分の目的に合った授業を選ぶことができます。
Founded in 2017, West Tokyo International College is a Japanese language school. The school offers Japanese courses suitable for advancing education in Japan or general ones depending on the student’s goals and motives. The lessons make the students the main part of the class, and teachers are there to support them.
授業の形式も従来の教師が学生に一方的に教えるようなスタンスをとらず、常に学生が主体となり、教師はあくまでサポートの役割を担う形で授業が進行されます。 校舎は、新宿駅東口・西武新宿駅から、快速で30分、西武新宿線の「久米川」駅から徒歩２分の場所にあります。こんなに都心に近いのに、本校周辺には田園や木々の緑が残り、静かで勉強に集中できる環境です。学校周辺には、大きなスーパーマーケットやコンビニエンスストア、商店街などがあり、生活にも便利です。学校指定の学生寮が校舎の近隣にあり、本校学生は優先的に入居できます。
In terms of class format, the conventional stance of teachers teaching students one-sidedly is not taken, and classes are always conducted in such a way that students take the lead and teachers play a supporting role. The school building is located 30 minutes by rapid train from Shinjuku Station East Exit/Seibu Shinjuku Station, and a 2-minute walk from "Kumegawa" Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. Despite being so close to the center of the city, the area around our school is surrounded by green fields and trees, making it a quiet environment where you can concentrate on your studies. There are large supermarkets, convenience stores, and shopping streets around the school, making it convenient for daily life. There is a student dormitory designated by the school near the school building, and our students are given priority to move in.
